As with any great Italian food the sauce is what it's all about.
At Harley's we take great pride in all our sauces and
ours are made fresh everyday in small batches.
Our Marinara is made from whole San Marzano tomatoes imported from Italy.
We painstakingly crush them ourselves in the kitchen.
It takes some time and makes a mess, but the results are well worth it.
Our Alfredo is a classic heavy cream and butter reduction.
It's another time consuming process at well over an hour to prepare.
We don't add cheese or garlic in the preparation.
Freshly ground parmesan/Romano mix is available at the table.
The sauce is what it's about, but the pasta is the building blocks and all our pasta is made from durum semolina wheat. A truly Italian tradition
Chicken breast is filet cut and pound out by hand for consistency and tenderness. Another prep not often done by most restaurants.
Meatballs: Ours are handmade from a recipe handed down over several generations. Not just one, but there are two secret ingredients.
We also crush them for our meat sauce...Yum
The Dough: Homemade fresh for both our pizza and bread for dipping.
Of course, the dipping oil is made here and
is available in bottles.
Say Cheese: Our parmesan/ramano mix is grated fresh from whole rounds.
The mozzarella is shredded from blocks.
Our Cannoli filling and Tiramisu are also homemade.
